In total 6207 items were checked out of the system during fiscal year 2022-2023. In addition to these items, approximately 4900 people entered the library to utilize print and electronic reference resources, access the Internet through the Library’s computers, enjoy WI-FI service, or attend one of the Library’s many events.
Our Mission is to provide material that will meet the day-to-day educational, informational, cultural and recreational interest and needs of the community.
To fulfill this purpose, the library endeavors to purchase those books which are of permanent and current value and represent the best available to meet the community's interests and needs. Allotted book monies are used to build up a well-rounded adult collection, and also provide books for the juvenile collection which represent the best possible means to enrich the child's literacy and artistic tastes, to satisfy their informational needs and provide recreational reading at all levels of growth.
